We are delighted to share the news that Gesu Catholic School received the esteemed STEM Designation from the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio STEM Learning Network. Gesu is one of just 55 elementary, middle and high schools in the state to receive this recognition. STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education provides students with a deep understanding of STEM subjects while incorporating inquiry-based learning and design thinking in all subjects. Gesu is continuing to grow the learning opportunities for all students and has expanded the STEM designation to STREAM which includes religion and art. Thanks to our principal Lucy Iemmolo, STREAM Coordinator Marjorie Gessner, the faculty, parents and parishioners who have supported our efforts to bring new and innovative learning initiatives to the school’s curriculum. Our gratitude to the donors who generously contributed to the STREAM Learning Center that is used constantly throughout the school day! Congratulations Gesu Catholic School!
