Three Bible Studies begin in September

A New Women’s Bible Study – The Gospel of Luke  begins Tuesday, September 24.  Debbie Bruening and Veronica Yates will facilitate weekly sessions for 9 weeks from 9:00-10:30 am in the Dietz Room of the Madonna della Strada Pastoral Center. Join in this new study and newly formed group of women to learn about the Good News of God’s Mercy through Jesus Christ. This study will cover introductions to the group, key themes and messages in the Gospel of Luke and prayer. It is meant for beginners to reflect on the Word of God in their own lives.  A 6-week study guide book is available for $8 and can be purchased in the parish office.  Please email Debbie Bruening (debbruening1@gmail.com)  or Veronica Yates (veronicayates@wowway.com) if you wish to participate.”

The Book of Psalms begins Wednesday, September 11. Fr. Michael Vincent, S.J., will facilitate sessions twice monthly from 9:15-10:45 am in the Pastoral Center. Join in this new study of Psalms as a series of prophecies about how God would redeem his people through his Beloved Son. A two-volume commentary is available in the parish office for $30. The Book of Exodus begins Saturday, September 7. Christie Okocha will facilitate weekly sessions from 12:00-2:00 pm in the Pastoral Center.
